What We Do

More than a meeting link.

The legal team may be ready while the participant still needs help with a device, camera, microphone or connection. We bring hands-on support to homes, care facilities and other appropriate private locations.

Equipment & Setup

Prepare a suitable device, stand, camera, microphone and power supply. Arrange the setup at the participant’s location for the remote proceeding.

Joining & Connection Testing

Review the court notice or meeting invitation, prepare platform access, and test audio, video and the connection. A dedicated cellular connection independent of home Wi-Fi is available when appropriate.

Support During the Proceeding

Help the participant join at the instructed time and remain available on site for discreet technical troubleshooting, following directions about the technician’s presence.

Support for remote hearings, depositions, mediations and legal meetings. We work from the platform and joining instructions specified for the proceeding, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex where applicable.

Who We Help

A practical resource for attorneys and firm staff.

When a client or witness needs someone physically present to handle the technology, Maloy can coordinate the setup with attorneys, paralegals and firm administrators.

Share the proceeding date and participant location. Mark will check availability and discuss whether the assignment is a fit.

About Maloy

Technology support that shows up.

Mark Maloy is the owner and field technician behind Maloy Mobile Legal Service, based in Mesa and serving the East Valley and Greater Phoenix Area.

Maloy provides the physical and logistical bridge between a remote proceeding and the person participating from home, a care facility or another appropriate location.

A clear, technology-only role.

Maloy provides technology support only. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, document preparation, court reporting, transcription, or influence over the proceeding.

We follow the proceeding’s joining instructions and directions about privacy and our presence. Counsel, the court or the meeting organizer retain control over the proceeding.

Common Questions

Before you arrange support.

When is Maloy useful?

When a client or witness needs hands-on help at their location to join a remote legal proceeding. They may lack suitable equipment, have limited connectivity, or be uncomfortable setting up and troubleshooting the technology alone.

What do we need to provide?

Start with the proceeding type, date and time, participant location, and day-of contact. After we discuss the assignment, we arrange access to the necessary notice or joining details through your firm’s portal or a restricted file share. Please omit unrelated case materials.

What does an appointment cost?

A standard appointment is $195, with additional time at $75/hour. Urgent or same-day appointments are $250, subject to availability. Appointment scope and timing are confirmed before booking. Approved law-firm accounts may use Net 15 billing.

Who arranges permission for a remote appearance?

The customer or counsel confirms any required permission. Maloy follows the current court notice or meeting invitation; the court or organizer controls admission and timing.

Can the technician stay during private discussions or testimony?

We coordinate expectations before the appointment and follow counsel’s and the organizer’s directions about our presence, including stepping away when directed.

Can you guarantee a connection or use the same device for every proceeding?

We review the requirements and test a suitable setup, with a permitted fallback where available. Networks, platforms, admission and scheduling are outside our control; no single device or connection suits every proceeding.
